Ken Yokoyama, PhD wins Pfizer Award

Kenichi Yokoyama, Ph.D. has been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Pfizer Award in Enzyme Chemistry administered by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Established in 1945, it aims to stimulate fundamental research in enzyme chemistry by scientists younger than forty years of age. Dr. Yokoyama is the third recipient of this award at Duke. The first awardee was Dr. Salih Wakil in 1967 then Dr. Paul Modrich in 1983.
