Postdoctoral Position in Membrane Biology & Physiology


The Yang lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Neurobiology at Duke University is currently seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate who is interested in membrane biology and physiology. Studies in the lab are focused on ion and lipid membrane transport and their impacts on health and disease such as neurological, cardiovascular, hemostatic and thrombotic, reproductive, immunological disorders and cancer. Individuals with experience in molecular and cellular biology, immunology, hematology, neuroscience, cardiology, electrophysiology, biophysics and biochemistry are welcome to apply.


  • PhD in a relevant field (such as cell biology, immunology, hematology, neuroscience, cancer biology, electrophysiology, biophysics, or biochemistry).
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work well with others.
  • Demonstration of past research productivity.
